Angie Schmitt is a licensed aesthetician whom helps you determine the best skin care regimen that suits your needs. During your visit, she will evaluate your skin and determine the best methods for treating your skin with various tools and techniques. Her skill in dermaplaning and microneedling is welcomed to Serene Renewal and she is a great addition to our staff. Christina H. Dothager, MD - O'Fallon & Greenville
Dr. Dothager is a Board Certified OBGYN who earned her Medical Degree from the University of Illinois. She then trained at St Louis University's OBGYN Residency Program and graduated in 2010. Since, she has been providing care local to the Southern Illinois and MetroEast regions. She opened Serene Renewal to focus on gynecological issues including hormone regulation and abnormal uterine bleeding as well as sexual health. She offers comprehensive evaluation of hormone imbalances, bioidentical hormone therapy, and vaginal rejuvenation treatments, both surgical and office based procedures to improve your love life and restore intimacy.

Markel Owens, MD - Maryville Office
With over 15 years of experience, Dr Owen's specializes in pelvic surgery and women's health. She previously worked in Maryville in a combined OBGYN practice, but has decided to focus on gynecology due to the high demand in our region. Her expertise is well recognized by many patients in the region and her soothing demeanor fits well with our Serene Women's Wellness. She also now sees patient at the Serene Renewal Maryville location for consultation, injections and pellets.

Sami Munro, FNP joined our team June of 2023. She has a passion for helping women feel beautiful. She is a makeup artist in her spare time, but has become a Nurse Practitioner with us to provide Tox, Filler, hormone therapy, supervised weight management, PDO thread lifts, Agnes Precision Microneedling and is Coolsculpting certified for consultations and treatments. She improves patient access by providing acute care for gynecology.

Sam is a licensed Nurse Practitioner at Serene Renewal Medical Spa & Women's Wellness providing bioidentical hormone therapy. She is also skilled on sclerotherapy for superficial veins, picogenesis facials for a light resurfacing with little to no downtime, PDO threads for adding volume to lines and spaces which have lost their luster in your face and body, and body sculpting with Trilipo, our RF cavitation unit to tighten skin and shrink fat! She has so many amazing talents both in the office and out, we are happy she is a part of our team on Mondays and Tuesdays in Maryville and Fridays in Ofallon, IL.
